Sharon M. Bankert earned a B.F.A. from the University of Colorado at Denver, specializing in photography and painting. After completing her degree, she enjoyed training as a fine art handler, traveling throughout the west to work with prestigious museums, galleries, art centers and private collectors.
Since 2000, Sharon has worked as an Artist and Fine Art Consultant which led her to establish Bankert Arts in 2005. Her extensive experience includes art acquisition, collection management, inventory evaluation, exhibition curation, art education/program development, and professional art installation, packing and shipping.

Sharon’s artwork encompasses photography, collage and installation art. Her work is both narrative and conceptual. She tells visual stories that are elusive and mysterious allowing the works a life of their own. Never giving a definitive answer, encouraging one to contemplate and complete these stories.
