Iron Pour: Saturday, January 27th, 4:30pm-late

You, me, a bunch of guys in silver suits and hot molten iron.
Rian Kerrane & Mark Guilbeau have invited 20 artists to participate in the iron pour; the molds that these artists have prepared will be poured over the course of Saturday evening. The process starts during the day by stoking the ovens to get them hot enough to liquefy the iron.

At dusk the pour will start, the glowing metal warming the January night. The pour goes until 10 pm. In the gallery at Ironton, previously completed iron works by these artists will be exhibited so you can see the end product!

Ironton Studios is open Monday through Friday from 10 to 4, and Saturdays from 12 to 4.
