Peter Strange Yumi: The work I am showing is a culmination of the past 5 years of learning and sharing with artists globally on the internet.  The work is deeply influenced by my time and obsession with the internet as a landscape. A new pastoralism is taking place with the creative class within the limitless dimensions of the internet, I am deeply indebted and humbled by the hundreds of other artists whose work and encouragement have assisted in the development of the work I am exhibiting.

Peter Strange Yumi is an artist/composer/curator living in Denver, Colorado . He creates paintings, collage and digital art and music.

Lyle West: This work is a visual journal that interprets my daily experiences utilizing a mixed-media collage process.  By embracing impermanence, I bury images and texts beneath layers, which are then resurrected (or excavated) later. I allow for certain degrees of abstraction through experimentation while I continue to take apart and reconstruct the work towards a coalescence that contains a variety of extremes.

I graduated with an MFA from New Mexico State University in 2013 and a BFA from Metropolitan State University in Denver. I currently teach art classes at a local non-profit organization and engage in a rigorous studio practice making art on a daily basis.
